World Jamboree 2019 Presentation
With the World Jamboree being held in West Virginia in 2019 we thought there might be some local interest from youth and Scouters to attend. With the early registration deadline approaching in December we have asked Rob Byce, a Scouter from Mississauga and some of the youth that attended the last World Jamboree in Japan to come and speak about their experiences fundraising and preparing for the event. Rob has taken on a role within the Council helping to promote and work with groups that are interested in attending WJ19.
We would like to invite all Scouters and any youth that might have some interest in the event to join us and hear some more information about what is involved and what they can expect at the event to attend our next Area Meeting on September 26 at 7:30 at Hillcrest United Church on Trafalgar Road.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Who can join the Canadian Contingent?
